Frances Ruth Barrett, 91, died March 16, 2010.
A native of Clarke County, GA, she was a lifelong member of Johnson Drive Baptist Church. She taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School and believed in the power of prayer. Frances retired from Clarke County School District after 30 years of service as a dietician.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Johnson Drive Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Luttrell officiating. Interment will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Loretta Doster; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Joe Haddon; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Joan Smith; grandchildren, Carmen Smith, Chris Doster, Loree Marshall, Robin Marshall, Christina Haddon; great grandchildren, Chelsie Smith, Courtney Smith and Logan Doster; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
