Frances Bolton Baker, 93, of Bogart, died June 14, 2016.
Born in Jackson County, she was the oldest of 7 children of the late Dewey and Evelyn Powell Bolton. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Paul A. Baker, Sr. and 2 sisters, Kitty Moon and Mary Walls. Mrs. Baker was a homemaker and retired from Barrow County School System. She was a longtime member of Bogart United Methodist Church.
Survivors include 3 sons, Tommie Baker (Brenda) of Winder, Paul Baker, Jr. (Vicki) and Stanley Baker (Dianne) of Bogart; sisters, Margie Ferguson of Statham, Jo Dial (Allen) of Macon and Barbara Hamby (Paul) of Bishop; brother, Billy Bolton (Lyndal) of Stockbridge; 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Rev. Megan Gomez officiating. Interment will follow in Bogart UMC Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matt Baker, Jason Baker, Jeff Baker, Josh Garrett, Spencer Williams and Tim Huff. Grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
