Floretta Goss, 84, died October 17, 2006.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Clydie Martin Evans, and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Goss, and daughter, Rosa Lee Goss. Mrs. Goss was a homemaker and a member of Bluestone Baptist Church for over thirty years.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Bluestone Baptist Church, with Rev. George Lovely and Ray Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include three children, Allen Goss and Paula of Colbert, Floyd Goss of Danielsville, Howard and Bobbie Goss of Danielsville; two sisters, Helen Holcomb of Hartwell and Nancy Petty of Carlton; one brother, Ralph Evans of Aurora, CO; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
