Colbert - Florene Dove Meadow, 81, of Colbert, GA. passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006.
She was born in Oglethorpe County, GA, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Dove. and worked as a baker at Colbert Elementary School. She was a member of Colbert United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband William E. Meadow.
Her survivors include her daughter and son in law; Janice Meadow and Bill Farris, Colbert, GA., and son and daughter in law, Bill and Janet Williams Meadow of Cumming, GA. Three grandchildren Suzanne Self Lewis, Jessica Brooke Meadow, and Laura Ashley Meadow.
Funeral services were Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at Colbert United Methodist Church at 11:00AM and burial followed in Meadow Family Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers memorial may be made to Colbert United Methodist Church.
Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
