Winterville, GA - Florence T. Smith, 89, died September 18, 2007.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph Thurmond Tucker, Sr. and Lucy Carter Tucker and widow of George Ferson Smith. Mrs. Smith was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Elberton with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating.
Survivors include her sister, Vivian Long of Englewood, Colorado and brother, Leonard G. Tucker of Columbus. She was greatly loved by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, EAST, Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grandview Nursing Home.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
