Florence Elizabeth Seidman

Florence Elizabeth Seidman, 93, wife of the late Daniel Seidman, died Wednesday, March 19., 2014.
A native of Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael S. and Elizabeth Gardon Miechurski; sister of the late Edward Miechurski, Emily Balog, Phillis DiVincenzo, Irene Petroff and Theresa Boryzak. She also resided in Washington, DC, Southern California, Brooklyn,Stephentown, NY,and most recently, Bogart, GA. Florence received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Education form the Catholic University in Washington, DC.and taught nursing in several NYC hospitals. She was very active at the Oconee County Senior Center and was a communicant of the UGA Catholic Center.
Survivors include her children: Michael (Ellen) Seidman of Ogdensburg, NY, David Seidman of Athens, GA, Susan (Thomas) Wilson of Oradell, NJ, Paul (Ollie) Seidman of Bogart, GA , Luke (Elaine) Seidman of Crownsville, MD.and 9 Grandchildren , 2 Great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11AM at the UGA Catholic Center with Father David Hyman O.F.M. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
