Florence (Spratlin) Hardy

Florence Spratlin Hardy, 87, was called home by her heavenly father Monday, August 11, 2014. Florence was born in Hull to the late Walter and Hattie Davis Spratlin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Hardy, and brothers Thomas, Harry, Weldon, Sherwood, and Viron Spratlin.
Survivors include sisters Viola S. Dillard and Florrie S. Hughes, sisters-in-law Hazel Spratlin, Mary Tiller, and Brenda Graham, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 13, from 12-1:30 at Lord and Stephens, East with a gravside service following at 2:00 at Redstone United Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating.
The family wishes to thank Florence's caregivers; Kath Hicks, Beth Walker, Brooke Passini, and Cynthia Welborn.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Redstone United Methodist Church building or cemetery fund, or to Gentiva Hospice.
