Colbert, GA - Floree Gunter Wilkins, 79, died February 17, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident with her husband Coile, who died February 21, 2009.
Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late David Wright Gunter, Sr. and Ruby Wilhite Gunter. For a number of years, she worked at Thomas Textile and later, Hodges BBQ. Mrs. Wilkins was a member of Hull Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Wilkins were Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment was in Winterville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Cody LaCount, Kelly LaCount, Chad Wilkins, Jeff Wilkins, Danny Gunter and Ray Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Coile Wilkins; daughters, Judy Clark and her husband David of Colbert and Lisa Neill and her husband Derrick of Dallas, TX; sisters, Jenelle Melton of Colbert and Wilma Massey of Crawford; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
