Athens

Felix Patman Graham, Jr. (Pat) passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2024. Pat was 75 years old and until recently he was a lifetime resident of Madison County, Georgia, the place he loved to call “home.”

Pat was predeceased by both his parents, Felix P. Graham, Sr. and Sue Gordon Graham. He is survived by: his two sisters, Felice Pamela Graham (Pam) of Athens, GA, and Mrs. William Pendleton (Linda) of Fayetteville, NC; a niece, Susan Jones of Winter Haven, FL; and a nephew, David Pendleton of Bethesda, MD. He is also survived by his fiancee and loving partner, Susan P. Havener of Athens, GA.

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Pat resided in Madison County, Georgia for most of his life. He graduated from Mercer University College of Liberal Arts in 1971 and received his J.D. from The Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, in 1973. Pat was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 1973 and began his practice of law by joining his father’s law firm, Graham & Graham in Danielsville, Georgia, where he specialized in Real Estate Law, for which he had a passion. Pat loved working for the people of Madison County and surrounding counties for 47 years. For many of those years he was known for the special “paperweight” on his desk, his office cat, Miss Betty. He retired from the firm December 31, 2019.

Pat was a member of the Danielsville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed being active in numerous organizations in the community throughout his career. Pat served as City Attorney for both Hull, GA and Ila, GA. He was an avid University of Georgia Dawg fan of football, basketball and baseball.

The family wants to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Providence Care Hospice. Marcia and Angel, your expertise, kindness, and unwavering commitment to Pat’s comfort and dignity in his final days were truly remarkable. We are forever grateful for the support and care you provided.
