Fayrene G. Berry, 89, died April 10, 2005.
Born in Marshall County, AL, she was the daughter of the late James Jordan and Julia Viola Jones Gibbs. She was the widow of Paul Manning Berry and preceded in death by a son, James Peter Berry. Mrs. Berry made her home in Oconee County, GA for the past 26 years. She was a floral designer and foster mother.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 1:00 PM (EST) at Rocky Mount Primative Baptist Church Cemetery, Arab, AL.
Survivors include her daughter, Paula B. (Hugh) Campbell of Athens; foster son, Clinton J. Roberson of Huntsville, AL; sister, Bernice Kennemer of Union Grove, AL; grandchildren, Teresa Campbell Kittle and Phillip Hugh Campbell of Athens and Deon Roberson of Huntsville, AL; 4 great-granddaughters and 1 great-great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, Athens, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
