Faye Beck Fleming

Faye Beck Fleming, 58, of Athens, GA died on March 11, 2023 after a long illness.

Faye was born in Decatur, GA on May 3, 1964. She lived most of her life in GA. Faye went back to school in her late 40's and graduated summa cum laude with a double major in psychology and mental health counseling.

Faye was, by nature, a helper. She helped and inspired many friends in need. After graduation, Faye worked at UGA in the Disability Resource Center. She loved her students and helping them was a true joy in her life. Faye also volunteered as a CASA and positively impacted the lives of many children.

Faye is survived by her faithful and loving partner, Chuck Hayes; her mother Joanna (Art); her father, Derry (Peg); her sister Cabby; and her beloved niece, Cady.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
