Athens - Fay Miller, 84, died January 18, 2010.
Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Jeff and Ruby Nunnally Jackson and the widow of Medicus L. Miller. She was a homemaker and was previously employed with the Credit Bureau of Athens and was a member of the First Christian Church of Athens.
Graveside services will be Thursday, January 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Austin officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Malinda and Steve Jungst of Gallatin, Tenn.; son, Medicus L. Miller Jr. of Vinton, Va.; and two cousins, Carolyn Breedlove of Anchorage, Alaska, and Mary Ann Alcorn of Ft. Worth, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011, www.alz.org; or the American Cancer Society , 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
