Evie Lou (Barber) Berry
September 10, 1916 — February 16, 2016
Evie Lou Berry, 99, of Winterville, died Tuesday, February 17, 2016.
Born in White County, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Barber and Mattierae Wages Barber. Mrs. Berry was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church, and she loved to sew. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnett Alvis Berry; one brother, Cliff Barber; and one sister, Nell Johnson.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews and friends, whom she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Lord and Stephens, East with Rev. Tac Coley officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Gentiva Hospice at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to Winterville United Methodist Church, 101 Parkview Road, Winterville, GA 30683.
