Athens - Evelyn Messer, 74, died March 19, 2009.
A native and lifelong resident of this area, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Jessie Fuller Kubitzky and the widow of Lyndel Messer. She attended Johnson Drive Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Troy Messer of Vine Grove, Ky., and Jeff Messer of La Crosse, Wis.; two sisters, Louise Petty of Sanford, N.C., and Kaye Kubitzky of Hull, Ga.; grandson, Andrew Messer; nieces and nephews from the local area and many friends in La Crosse, Wis.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
