Evelyn Joyce Bonner

Evelyn Joyce Bonner, 86, of Athens passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Born on September 5, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Henry Gordon Melton and Arnettie Bradley Melton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Wynn Bonner; siblings, Bobby Melton, Betty Huth, Daisey Bagwell, Billy Melton, Richard Melton.

Survivors include her sons, George (Renee) Bonner, Ken (Norma) Bonner, Eugene Bonner; sister, Bonnie LaCount; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; special niece, Brenda David; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Thaxton Wynne Cemetery in Oglethorpe County.
