Bogart, GA - Evan Phillip Luke, 20, died November 1, 2005.
Born in Gwinnett County, he was the son of Jim and Phyllis Luke of Bogart. He was a 2003 graduate of Oconee County High School, and was currently attending Georgia College, Milledgeville. Evan enjoyed life, always wanting to have a good time. He hunted and fished far and wideé�...from Pop's and Granny's pond to the wilds of Alaska, where he met a special friend, Morgan Michelsohn.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, 2005 at 3:00 PM at Hebron Christian Church with Revs. Russell Wall and Danny Shoemake officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his sister, Suzanna Luke Trice and husband, Mike of Norcross; grandparents, Carroll and Elizabeth Luke of Bogart and John I. and Mildred Sims of Statham; aunts and uncles, Judy and Bruce Pemberton of Atlanta and Tom and Sandy Elliott of Monroe; cousins, Katie, Julie, Jill, Prentiss and Damon; many, many loyal friends and relatives.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials in his honor may be directed to Evan Luke Memorial Fund at North Georgia Bank, P.O. Box 1499, Watkinsville, GA, 30677.
