Born in Florence, AL, he was the son of the late Robert Ray and Mattie Louise Vinson Risner.
Survivors include his step son; Jeremy Stutzman; brothers: Robert Fay (Patsy) Risner of Murphysboro, TN, David P. (Janice) Risner of Mt. Juliet, TN, Clayborn Risner of Chatmansboro, TN, Dolphus Dean (Barbara) Risner of Nashville, TN; sisters: Barbara Jean (Raymond) Belcher of Portsmouth, VA, Dollie (O.C.) Mannozzie of Danielsville, GA; eight nephews and 4 nieces.
Services will be private.
