Eugene Thomas Pritchett

Reverend Eugene Thomas Pritchett, age 76, passed away on October 16, 2013. Rev. Pritchett was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Thomas & Ruth Arthur Pritchett; brother, Charles Emory Pritchett; sisters, Wileene Winters and Hilda Hagerstrand; half-sisters, Judy Horton and Jimmie Harmon; son-in-law, William Brooks; and great-grandchild, Julian Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Pritchett; children, Cornelia Eugenia Huff (Clay), Julia Brooks, and Thomas Pritchett, Jr. (Lona); brothers, Calvin Pritchett and Andy Pritchett (Belinda); fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 4PM on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4PM on Saturday, October 19 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bill Gaddis, Josh Willoughby, Travis Brooks, Bradley Gaddis, Daniel Pritchett, Matthew Pritchett, Blake Huff, and Thomas Engler.
