Eugene Eades

Bogart, GA - Eugene Eades, 79, died May 29, 2013.
Born in Bogart, GA, he was the son of the late John T. and Annie Lou Huff Eades. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Payne Eades and his sister, Lourene Norton. Mr. Eades served his country with honor in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. He was a dedicated softball fan. Wherever his granddaughters were playing, you would always find him there.
Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Michele and Rickey Poole of Watkinsville; brothers, G.W. (Caroline) Eades of High Shoals, James J. "Jack" (Nancy) Eades of Bogart and Rupert C. "Buster" (Tina) Eades of Watkinsville; granddaughter and spouse, Jessica and Will Hearn; granddaughter Courtney Poole; mother in law Nell Payne; sister in law and brother in law, Wera and Darrell Jackson; brother in law and sister in law Stanley and Vici Payne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM Revs. Phil Williams and Megan Gomez officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Mr. Eades nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 6 until 9 PM.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Bogart United Methodist Church Building fund.
