Euell "griff" Dwayne Griffeth Jr

Euell "Griff" Dwayne Griffeth Jr. age 55, of Watkinsville passed away March 02, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Augusta following a period of declining health. Mr. Griffeth was born on September 13, 1955 to Euell and Wilma (Weatherford) Griffeth in Augusta, GA; he served his country with honor in the US Air force and had attended Southwest Texas State University. Mr. Griffeth was a technician with the Athens Clarke County Water Treatment Plant. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Euell Dwayne Griffeth III; Brother George D. Griffeth (Dana); Sisters Joy Collier (Harold), Gwen Beach; 4 Grandchildren, Sky Griffeth, Assunta Griffeth, Carter Griffeth, Thomas Griffeth; Nieces and Nephews, Ruth Walker, Vivian Walker, Brittany Griffeth, Aidan Griffeth, Robert Beach (Cristie), Lucas Beach; Great Nieces and Great Nephews, Max Walker, Gray and Walt Beach. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 4, 2011 from 5-6 with a memorial service to follow in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home West Chapel at 6 P.M. with Tommy Cochran officiating.
