Etheleen (LaCount) Hooper

Etheleen LaCount Hooper, 90, died September 8, 2013.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was a daughter of the late John and Florence Peterman LaCount and was preceded in death by her husband, John David Hooper in 2009. Mrs. Hooper retired from Thomas Textiles and was a member of Hull Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, David Hooper and Jimmy Darrell LaCount, both of Athens; four grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
