Ethel Virginia Wilson

Ethel Virginia Wilson, 85, of Arnoldsville, passed away on February 15, 2024. Born on April 8, 1938, she was the daughter of the late James Grady Smith and Evie Carter Smith.

Ethel was a strong woman who loved Jesus and her family deeply. She was a member of Collier Baptist Church. She enjoyed many things such as singing, playing bingo, getting her hair and nails done, and especially loved Mexican food.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Wilson; children, Linda Kistler, Laverne Youngblood (Wayne); siblings, Frances Fleeman, Gladys Bramlett, Jimmy Smith, Shirley Jacks.

Survivors include her children, Jake William Wilson (Vicki), Dennis Wilson, Sheila Atkins (Larry); sister, Edna Baugh; grandchildren,Rodney Wilson (Lisa), April Pugh (Shane), Sara Wilson-Butler(Jason), Kelly Ferguson(Jordan), Jamie Wilson, Lynn Woodall (Andy), Melanie Glenn (Greg), Adam Youngblood (Donna), Alter Youngblood, Preston LaCount(Katie), Sonja Wiiliams(deceased), Keri Heun; 26 great grandchildren; 7 Great Great Grandchildren; son-in-law, Charlie Kistler; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, EAST with Terry Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Crawford Cemetery. Pallbearers include Preston LaCount, Rodney Wilson, Jamie Wilson, Greg Glenn, Jason Butler, Shane Pugh.
