Ethel was born to Jack and Minnie Bales on April 15, 1920. In 1942 she married James C. (Callie) Martin. They had a loving life and marriage for 64 years. Ethel was retired and a homemaker for her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Athens Memory Gardens with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating.
Survivors include her husband, James C. (Callie) Martin; son, Garnett Ray Martin of Lexington; grandson, Gregory Ray Martin; special friends, Ed and Glenda Culbertson of Colbert; sister, Rachel Bradshaw of Cartersville and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
