Comer - Ethel Bonnie Brewer, 94, wife of the late Samuel A. Brewer, died Monday, November 12, 2007 at her residence.
A native and life long resident of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Hutchins Meadows. She was a member of Welcome Avenue Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her son and daughter: Arthur Lee Brewer and Lois Bonnie Callaway.
Survivors include her son: Vernon Ray Brewer of Comer, 8 grandchildren, two step grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 2PM at Welcome Avenue Holiness Church with Revs. James Meadows, Carl Herring and Robert Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bo Brewer, Vince Brewer, Matthew Hartrum, Bobby Hatton, Greg Horn, Wesley McDonald, Jeffrey Grover and Ray Sanders. Visitation will be held tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
