Estelle Free Lloyd

Estelle Free Lloyd, 102, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2021.

Born in Madison County, Georgia on September 11, 1919, Estelle was the daughter of the late Charley Eldridge Free and Minnie Lawson Free. She was a current resident of Traces of Tiger assisted living in Tiger, GA and a member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church.

Estelle was a retired sales associate with the Army and Air Force exchange service, Dobbins Air Force Base, Marietta, GA. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Lloyd; sister, Mary Buell Yarbrough (Lawrence); brothers, William Odell Free (Jean) and C.E. Free, Jr.

Survivors include her son, David K. Lloyd (Je’Ann) of Clayton, GA; daughter-in-law, Anne W. Lloyd of Deerfield Beach, FL; sister-in-law, Erma Free of St. Charles, MO; three grandchildren, Cindy Lloyd Pierson (Bill), Keith Lloyd (Kelly), Barry Lloyd; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Rev. David Souderes officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time.
