Erva Freeman Smith, 99, of Athens, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Atlas Freeman and Veda Davis Freeman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur V. Smith.

She is survived by her son, Gary B. Smith of Athens.
