Nicholson, GA - Emory Grady Jones, 68, died June 9, 2007.
A native and lifelong resident of Clarke County, GA he was employed with Barrett Dodge for over thirty years. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Arnoldsville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Melba Jones; daughters and sons-in-law, Laura and Lamar Lee of Gainesville, GA, Maxine McClure of Nicholson, Jennifer and Shawn Loden of Nicholson; three granddaughters; one grandson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Clifford and Effie Jones, Charles and Mildred Jones, all of Winterville, Paul and Vi Jones of Watkinsville, Robert Jones of Danielsville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ann McDaniel, Lynda and Walter Smith, Carol Porterfield, Frances and Eugene Burkhalter, all of Winterville; Vivian Bradberry of Athens, Dorothy Lovett of Jefferson; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
