Emma Jean Chesser, 74, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late Curtis and Edith Fisher Holland. A resident of Baltimore and Atlanta before living in Athens, she was a lady of great cheer and goodwill and will be known for her kindness to everyone. Her passing will be mourned by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2005, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, WEST with Mr. Dale Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, at 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Becky Solomon of Cartersville, Tina and Pat Canupp of Watkinsville; beloved sister, Lucille Herrington of Hawkinsville; three grandchildren, Rachel Canupp, Devin Gentry, Kristofer Solomon; two great grandchildren, Paige and Nathan Gentry.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST is in charge of arrangements.
