Eloise (Bragg) McGehee

June 30, 1920 — March 26, 2013

Eloise B. McGehee, 92, passed away Tuesday evening, March 23, 2013 in her home in Athens, Georgia.
Mrs. McGehee was born July 30, 1920, in Bullock County, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Ernest Bragg and Ruth Hodges Bragg; her husband, John B. McGehee; her brothers,
Dan Bragg and George Emitt Bragg; her sister-in-laws, Marion Francis Bragg and Jackie Allen Bragg.
Surviors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Rosalyn/Charles White, Tina/John Cotter, and Jonoise/CK Morehead; brother and sister-in-law, Jack E./Ruth D. Bragg; sister-in law, Grace Willis; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and Nephews.
After completing Business School in Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. McGehee began her career with York Air Conditioning. She concluded her career with retirement from Conoco, Inc. June 30, 1982 and was praised for her considerable experience, conscientious service and unending loyalty as a Supply Transportation Analyst of sixteen years.
After retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and camping club; family gatherings at her and
Mac's home in Peaceful Valley, Cleveland, Georgia; participating in Retirement Living at Iris Place, Athens, Georgia; discussing current events with family and friends, and following the Atlanta Braves.
A graveside service will be held 2p.m., Saturday, March 30 at Floral Hills Memory Garden, Tucker, Georgia. Flowers will be accepted by Lord and Stephens Funeral Home Athens, Georgia.
