Athens - Eloise Dillard Fouche, 84, passed away October 28, 2007.
A native of Madison County, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Ruth Stone and Tillman Lee Dillard, and the widow of Chandler Fouche. Mrs. Fouche retired from the University of Georgia and was a former longtime member of Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church. For the last ten years she was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church of Athens.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at 2:30 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Rev. Russell Repetske and Ray Jenkins will officiate. Interment will be in Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Shirley Fouche of Athens; three sisters, Patricia Thompson of Athens, Hazel Gay of Kennesaw, Ga., and Betty Ann Allen of Smyrna, Ga.; three grandchildren, Michael Fouche, Robyn Obana, and Jason Fouche; four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Tommy Dillard, Larry Dillard, Ricky Thompson, Michael Fouche, Jason Fouche, and Charlie Obana.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
