Elmer "Sonny" Earl Saye Jr

Elmer Earl "Sonny" Saye, Jr., 77, died June 26, 2015.
A native and lifelong resident of this area, he was a son of the late Valeria Dickerson and Elmer Earl Saye, Sr. Mr. Saye retired from the insurance and real estate industries and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST, with Mr. Ed Saye officiating. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Bettie; siblings, Larry E. (Jennifer) Saye of Athens, Brenda (Jimmy) Adams of Gainesville and Tommy (Ann) Saye of Athens; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 1:00pm until service time.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
