Elmar Ray Skipper, 73, husband of Sandy Middleton Skipper, died Thursday, February 6, 2014.
A native of Butler, AL, he was one of eleven children to the late Eddie Frank Skipper and Josie Phene Jones Skipper. He was Baptist Minister having served all over the world.
Survivors in addition to his wife include four sons: Keith Skipper of Daphne, AL, Kelvin Skipper of Hull, Kirk Skipper of Spartanburg, SC, Kris Skipper of Colbert; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 1PM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Revs. Ray Brown, Don Lee and Greg Mock officiating. Burial will follow at Danielsville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friend from 6 to 8 Monday, February 10, 2014 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
