Athens - Elma Helen Crowley, 90, wife of the late Harold Crowley, died Friday, April 3, 2009 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Elberton, GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Nobie Gunter Smith. She was a member of Johnson Drive Baptist Church and retired as a seamstress from Thomas Textile.
Survivors include her daughter and son in law, Wanda and Ben Jones of Athens; sister: Joyce Cheek of Winder; brothers: Lewis Smith and Joe Smith both of Elberton; one granddaughter and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2009 at 3PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel. Burial will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Smith Donald Smith, Chris Smith, Curtis Smith, Jeff Hamilton and Ben Jones.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 5 from 4 to 6 at the funeral home.
