Ellis Hicks

Ellis "Wayne" Hicks, 71, of Crawford, died, Thursday, March 8, 2018. Wayne was born in Athens to the late L.G. Hicks Jr. and Winifred Bridges Hicks. He is survived by his children, Kay (Ray) Bailey, of Murfreesboro TN, Lynn (Jimmy) Black, of Boiling Springs NC, Kevin (Mollie) Hicks, of Colbert GA, grandchildren, Morgan Guest, Rachel Bailey, Ansley Hicks, and Harrison Black, great grandchild, Malachi Guest, sister, Cynthia (Steve) Drake, niece, Shelby (AJ) Wall, and long time companion, Margaret England.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 11th at 3:00 P.M. at Clouds Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow at Crawford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 10th from 6-8 P.M. at Lord and Stephens, East.
