Crawford - Ellen M. Junkins Moody, 80, wife of Charles W. (Bill) Moody, died Saturday, February 25, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Duluth, GA, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Uva Goolsby Medlock. She was the owner of Moody's Personal Care Home, had retired from Athens Country Club and was a member of Crawford Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Donald Wayne Junkins of Crawford, sisters; Gussie Carlan of Gainesville, Avis Spillers of Musella, GA, sister in law, Emma Aaron of Lexington, brother in law, John Wayne Whitman of Thomson, GA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2PM, Tuesday at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Asa Thomas and Rev. Larry Davidson officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Athens Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be members of the Emergency Services and Volunteer Fire Departments of Oglethorpe County.
Flowers will be accepted.
