Elizabeth Louisa Rae Ludwig

Elizabeth Louisa Rae Ludwig of Alpharetta, GA and formerly of Athens, GA and died July 3rd, 2011. She was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, IA November 12, 1977.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Sandra Ludwig of Atlanta, GA, brother Dr. Joseph Ludwig of Houston, TX, sister Katrina Marie Evans, brother-in-law Christopher Evans, nephew Cooper and niece Delaney Evans of Athens, GA. Elizabeth was engaged to be married to Joseph Ryan Moffit of Cumming, Georgia.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Raymond & Dorothy Hofeldt of Davenport, IA, Joseph and Elinor Ludwig of New York, NY and Davenport, IA, and her niece, Eleanor Rae Evans of Athens, GA.
She graduated from Iowa State University and Mercy College of Nursing in Des Moines, IA. She began her career at St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA and continued her nursing career at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Beth loved nursing and providing care to her patients. Beth lived an active, joyful life scuba diving, horseback riding, and annually biking across the state of Iowa (RAGBRI).
Elizabeth was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt and was treasured and loved deeply by her family and her friends.
Visitation is at Lord & Stephens East in Athens, GA at 6 pm July 7th. Funeral services will be held July 8th at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Athens at 11 am.
