Elizabeth Gammage

September 22, 1941 — September 30, 2014

Elizabeth Ann Murray Gammage, 73, passed away September 30, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John and Grace McConnell Murray of Plains, GA. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Cato Murray.
She married Dan Gammage in 1960, and they settled in Americus, GA.
Mrs. Gammage lived most of her life in Sumter County, growing up in Plains and raising a family on Lake Blackshear. She moved to Comer in 2004 after she and her husband retired from the family business, Gammage Print Shop, and became a member of Comer Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 3, 2014 at 1:00pm at Comer Cemetery. A reception will follow the service at the residence.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Dan Gammage; daughters, Susan Gammage-Gehler, Dana (Alex) Johns and Lu Anne Gammage (Harry) Esposito and grandson, Joseph Johns.
