Watkinsville - Elizabeth Mathews Elder died Thursday, October 11, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Mathews of Carlton, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Elder and a son Dan Elder, Jr. Survivors include sons Courtney "Cokey" and John Elder, daughters Mary Elder Harness, Ann Elder Evans, and Flo Elder Wilkes, nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren Dawn Elder and Michael Gray, Matt and Jodie Elder, Dan III and Ellen Elder, Jeff and Joy Harness, Chad Forehand, Michael and Kelli Elder, Quinn Evans, Jackson Wilkes and Bud Evans.
The family will be accepting guests at the residence at 1193 Twin Oaks Trail, Watkinsville, Ga.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00am at the Watkinsville Cemetery. The Rev. Lowrie J. Welton officiating.
Memorials may be made to Ashford Memorial Methodist Church, Post Office Box 344, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Lord and Stephens, West, will be in charge of arrangements.
