Elise (Williams) Bowen

Elise Bowen, 69, of Hull, died on Friday, January 24, 2020.

She was born August 1, 1950, to the late J.C. and Flora Davis Williams in Athens. Elise was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved to make people laugh. She attended Lighthouse Church of God.

Along with her parents, Elise was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Williams. She is survived by her husband, Jack Bowen; her children, Laverne (John) Toney, Lamar Bowen, and Carolyn (Shane) Dawson; grandchildren Isaiah Patrick, Matthew Dawson, Hannah Dawson, Brandon Toney, and Jordan Toney; great-grandchild Emberleigh Dawson; and siblings Martha Williams, Freda Williams, Tommy Williams, Denny Williams, and James Williams.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Stephen Henderson and Danny Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment will follow the service at Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Dawson, Shane Dawson, Brent Alford, Isaiah Patrick, Cal Brock, and Randy Dalton.
