Jean Lewis of Winterville went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2012 she was 78 years old.
Mrs. Lewis was born in Athens, Georgia to the late Paul T. and Robbie Conley.
She was the loving wife of 61 years to Mr. L.H. Lewis. Mrs. Lewis loved her family, friends, and enjoyed spending time at the lake. She was a member of the Johnson Drive Baptist Church of Athens, and the Elbert Fish and Game Club of Elberton.
Mrs. Lewis in addition to her husband is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Lee Brooks of Athens, Teresa and Kenny Moore of Lagrange, and Carol and Ray Finger of Winterville.
She was blessed with Nine Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Doyal and Kathy Conley of Gainesville, Sammy Conley of Elberton, and Randy and Lori Conley of Colbert.
Pallbearers will be Russell Tankersley, Allen Fleming, A.J. Wall, Kaleb Moore, Christopher Iodice, Tyler Finger, Zack Tankersley and Travis Tankersley.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at Lord and Stephens, EAST Chapel, Interment following at Athens Memory Gardens.
Rev. Ray Finger, Mr. Kenny Moore, and Dr. Wayne Phillips will be officiating.
