Eldridge Spratlin

Eldridge Goss "Gus" Spratlin died February 4, 2017 two days before his 88th birthday.
A native of Winterville, GA, he was the son of the late Pope and Joyce Patton Spratlin and brother, Courtney B. Spratlin.
He owned and operated Spratlin's Garage for most of his life. He was an avid race fan and enjoyed watching racing on Sunday afternoon. He was a U. S. Army veteran and served in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Carnes Spratlin; son, Rodney (Penny) Spratlin; stepson, Michael Shockley; grandson, Alex Eskew; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 6, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. A private burial will be at a later date.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
