Eldred Maxey, 90, died March 10, 2012.
A native of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late James C. and Maude Keanum Adams and the widow of Thomas Jefferson Maxey. She was a longtime member of Union Christian Church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 10:30 am at Union Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. Troy Tatum officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean M. (Ned) Dawson of Watkinsville; sister, Loyce A. Malcom of Hull; grandchildren, Mark (Lisa) Dawson of Watkinsville, Patti (Ken) Clark of Bogart and Jeff Dawson of Watkinsville; two great grandchildren, Hailey Clark and Harrison Clark.
The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of Family Life Enrichment Center for their wonderful and compassionate care of Mrs. Maxey for the last four years.
Memorials may be made to the Union Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
