Elaine Busbin Young

Elaine Young, age 67, passed away March 14, 2015. She retired from Guardian Home Care after 11 years and was a member of Word of Life Church. She loved her family, especially her grandkids

Elaine was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Roy Young and a sister, Gloria Harrison.

Elaine is survived by her children Brad (Michelle) Young and Melissa (Wade) Patterson; siblings, Bobbie Shumake and Shirley Chambers; grandchildren, Sgt. Waylon (Kourtnee) Whitley, Brooke (Trey Threlkeld) Patterson, Jill (Jonathan Lord) Patterson, and Thomas Young; great-grandchildren Caden McDeris, Alissa McDeris, and Hunter Threlkeld; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Burial will follow at Collier cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday, March 17 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Sgt. Waylon Whitley, Trey Threlkeld, Jonathan Lord, Craig Harrison, Kevin Shumake, and Allen Chambers. Honorary pallbearer will be Thomas Young.
