Edward Odell Taylor

Edward Odell Taylor, 75, loving father and friend went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Born in Athens, he was a son of the late Odell John Taylor and Ila Mae Payne Taylor. He was a self-employed plumber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Cisco Taylor and his sister, Carlene Maxey.

Survivors include his son, Russell Taylor and two siblings, Shirley Smith and Larry Taylor.

Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow in Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the funeral home.
