Edson Alberto Tumen

Mr. Edson Alberto Tumen, 24, of Athens, passed away February 22, 2012.
Mr. Tumen was a good son, brother, friend and all around good guy. One of his many hobbies was drawing. He was a magnificent artist and enjoyed drawing people's faces. He was previously employed at McDonalds in North Athens while attending college and then joined the United States Navy. Following his training in the Great Lakes region, he earned the rank of Seaman, and served on board the USS Essex.
Survivors include his parents, Mario Tumen and Virginia Vara; sister, Melissa Tumen and brother, Mario E. Tumen.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 2:00PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, East with Rev. Carlos Baca officiating. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at the funeral home.
