Bishop - Edna Pyron Marable, 88, wife of the late Emmitte Marable, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at St. Maryís Hospital.
Born in East Point, GA, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Edna Mae Richardson Pyron and was also preceded in death by her brother, Steve Pyron and sister, Dorothy Pyron Hardee. She was cofounder of Southeastern Testing Lab Inc. of Bishop. She had been a secretary and Sunday school teacher for Talmadge Heights Baptist Church. She was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Gina (John) Marable Roush of Reidsville, GA, grandchildren; Bart (Leslie) Hardigree, Matt (Cindy) Hardigree, Amy (Fred) Thompson, Maggie (Robert) Hastings, nephews; Craig Pyron, Dr. Roddy Hardee, niece, Sue Chait, and caregivers and family friends, Anna Williams and Carolyn Williams.
Graveside services will be held 3PM, today, July 17, 2006 at Watkinsville City Cemetery with Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
