Eddie Mae (Epps) England

Eddie Mae Epps England, 87, died January 29, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Thurston C. and Willie Lee Simmons Epps. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donald Lynn England, grandson, Robert Spencer, the father of her children, Don England, sister, Sara Ann Epps Milton and brother, Jimmy Epps.

Eddie Mae was very active in the Hull community where she was a member of Hull Baptist Church and co/owner of England Electric Company.  She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan and always enjoyed the friends and fellowship while tailgating.  Eddie Mae took great pleasure in playing golf and camping.  She was a true people person and always had a smile.

Eddie Mae is survived by her children, Debbie (Dennis) Williamson, Wanda Phillips, Brenda (Tommie) Baker and Beverly Spencer; grandchildren, Dennis Williamson, Jr. (Lizzy), Cory Williamson, Tashua Sands (Jason), Stephanie Banks (Ryan), Jayden England, Jeremy Phillips, Jamey Hudson and Nicole Stephens (Devon Cox); 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, Thursday, February 1, 2024 beginning at 12:00 Noon.  Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM with Chris Wrenn officiating.  Interment will be at Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family thanks the staff at Quiet Oaks Health Care Center for 2 ½ years of loving and caring for Eddie Mae.
