Edd McCannon

Edd M. McCannon, 76, of Danielsville passed away on May 14, 2020.

Born on September 1, 1944 in Oglethorpe county, he was the son of the late Annie McCannon and Millard F. McCannon . After highschool, Edd joined the army where he served in the Vietnam War and was awarded a purple heart. He was a pro Bass fisherman, very organized and was always telling jokes. Edd loved gardening, cooking and Saturday night bonfires and cookouts with his wife, Debbie.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by many cousins and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Debbie McCannon; son, Scott McCannon; sister, Ann “Peggy” (William “Bill”) Braden; grandchildren, Josh and Caleb McCannon and numerous cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Burts United Methodist Church Cemetery.
