Earl Harvey Stratton, 69, of Comer died November 20, 2014.
A native of Jacksonville, FL he was the son of the late Leroy Stratton and Beulah Benton Stratton. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jerry and Alfred Stratton and a sister Linda Wallace. Mr. Stratton was disabled for many years but prior to that he was a truck driver and home relocation specialist. He was a member of Vineyards Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Suzette Stratton; daughters: Kathy Stratton (Glenn Seymour) Seigler of Hartwell, Melanie Gail (Junior) Graham; son: Marty (Shawna) Stratton; brothers: Raymond, Harold Harry Carl, Aaron, Douglas and Paul Stratton; sisters: Edith Mercer, Debra Ambrose and Loraine Hardin, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 3 PM at Vineyards Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Olds and Rev. Gerald Hunt officiating. Mr. Stratton will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery The family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2014 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
