Colbert - Drue Faye S. Harrison, 92, wife of the late William Alfred Harrison, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Bell Minor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Bluestone Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Jenkins, Rev. George Lovely, Rev. Talmadge Ethridge and Rev. Lamar Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Grady and Martha Patterson Scarborough. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Thelma S. Riggs, Dorothy Mae Scarborough; brothers, John David Scarborough, Sam Joe Scarborough, Asa Candler Scarborough, Luther Lamar Scarborough and Kendal Grady Scarborough. She retired from General Motors Lakewood Assembly Plant after 40 years where she worked as a registered nurse. She was a member of Bluestone Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Faye Summerville; sister, Willie S. Fortson; brother, Buddy C. Scarborough; and two grandchildren, William E. Summerville and Audra Faye Summerville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bluestone Baptist Church.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, has charge of arrangements.
